Meet Mayor Hagerty and Alderman Robin Rue Simmons at Jennifer’s Edibles for Sunday brunch and conversation!
Civic Bites is a series of events intended to showcase Evanston restaurants, breweries, bars, and businesses. Once every month or two, Mayor Hagerty will choose a space and invite people to meet him there to discuss local issues, ideas, and concerns. A portion of proceeds from the sales of each event will go toward a non-profit of the establishment owner’s choosing. Civic Bites is a way to combine some of many good things in Evanston – business, philanthropy, and civic engagement.
Jennifer’s Edibles, Inc. was founded by Jennifer Eason, who had a passion for food every since her mother required her to help in the kitchen due to health related issues. As a young child, Jennifer began to prepare nightly meals for her family, creating her own dishes, exploring different ingredients, and perfecting dishes that have been passed down in her family for generations. It was this passion and the desire to help bring “dinner time” back into existence that birthed Jennifer’s Edibles, Inc. Jennifer’s Edibles, Inc specializes in personal chef and catering services that provides customized meal plans “from our kitchen to your table.” Jennifer’s Edibles provides the convenience of take out, the nutrition of a home cooked meal, the peace of mind of meal planning, and they do all the shopping for you as well!
